Robert Clint Walker
Funeral Director/Embalmer/ Pre-Planning Specialist
My name is Robert Clint Walker, and it is my honor to serve you in this time of need in your life. It is my goal to help guide you through the entire funeral process from beginning to end; there are no questions too big or small. I am here to work for you; together, we can plan a fitting service that honors the life of your loved one. I began my career in funeral service at the age of 14 in my hometown of Newton, MS at the former James F. Webb Funeral Home (now Newton County Funeral Home). Under the supervision of funeral directors, Danny Shoemaker and the late Larry Willis, I learned the value of service and treating each family as my own early on in my career. Since joining the staff of Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in July of 2014, it has been my great honor and privilege to continue the legacy of excellent service working alongside the entire Barham Family and staff of co-workers. I attended East Central Community College, Mississippi State University, and East Mississippi Community College. When not at work, I can usually be found in Starkville on game days, in the Mississippi Delta duck hunting, or spending time with family and friends. I attend First Baptist Church Meridian, where I am active in the Music Ministry; I am also a member of the Mississippi Funeral Directors Association, serving as a Central District Governor. I am also a member of The Young Professionals of Meridian; and in addition, I serve on the Funeral Service Technology Advisory Craft Committee at East Mississippi Community College. I was honored to be inducted as a member of the Meridian Magazine's Top 20 under 40 Class of 2025. I am also a Licensed Pre-need specialist, as well as a Notary public.
Since receiving my funeral service license in 2017, I have been able to walk with many families in their times of need. For me, caring for others is more than just a job, it is my calling and my way of life.
